Oxford United welcome Burton Albion to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday in Sky Bet League 1

There will be plenty of entertainment at the Kassam Stadium ahead of the game. Panna Cage will be outside the South Stand with a Panna player, a chance to showcase your skills and win prizes.

Face painting with Partyman World and a fantastic street baller will all be outside the ground and on the pitch at half-time to meet fans and help us make it a great day for the whole family.

TEAM NEWS

Deadline Day signing Djavan Anderson is not available while he waits for a work permit and United will be without Billy Bodin after his red card at Cheltenham last Saturday.

Elliott Moore remains sidelined with a thigh injury but Simon Eastwood and Steve Seddon are likely to return to the side after being rested for the 5-0 win over Leyton Orient on Tuesday.

THE OPPOSITION

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink saw his side win 4-2 against Leicester City U21s in the Papa John's Trophy on Tuesday and is hoping the Brewers’ first win of the season kick starts their league campaign

“There were lots of positives and we need to concentrate on that. There were a lot of good things on Tuesday and wins make everyone feel a little bit better.

“Are all the cracks gone? No. We still have to work really hard to get rid of all those cracks but we can keep on improving and can get closer to perfect performances as a team.

“I hope we have caught Oxford at a bad moment and for us the right time, if we can capitalise on that. We know what their identity is as a team and know what kind of game we are going to get. They won’t really change from their beliefs, so we need to learn from our previous matches against them and make it a lot more competitive and stay in the game. From there we can get the confidence to go past them.

“There is a lot of work to be done and we have to stick with the plan as a unit, stay compact and pass the ball better not losing it in dangerous areas as their first pass forward is very good. They are very dangerous in the transition.”
