An exciting winger, Malachi joined the Oxford Academy from Reading when he was 16 years old. After impressing with the youth set-up, he was offered a one-year professional contract in May 2017. Spent the first three months of the 2017/18 season on loan at Hampton & Richmond Borough before being recalled in November. Signed a new contract to the end of the 2018/19 season in November 2017 and then a new three-year contract in August 2018. Joined Macclesfield Town for the first half of the 2018/19 season.
