Oxford paid Derby County an undisclosed fee to capture Jamie’s signature on Transfer Deadline Day, 9^th August 2018. Jamie, a tough-tackling defensive midfielder who can also play at right-back, signed a four-year deal with the U’s. The former England under-20 international had been with Derby for over ten years and made 25 senior appearances, as well as enjoying a loan spell at Wigan Athletic.
