Oxford United welcome Peterborough United to the Kassam Stadium in Sky Bet League 1 on Saturday.

TEAM NEWS
United made changes to the side for their Papa Johns Trophy game at Sutton but Sam Long, James Henry, Marcus Browne and Cameron Brannagan are all likely to return to a side that won the previous league game at Exeter.

Sam Baldock, a sub at Exeter, picked up a new injury this week and is ruled out along with Josh Murphy while Yanic Wildschut continues his recovery and is making good progress and Jodi Jones is fit again and should be back in the squad.

Simon Eastwood also returns and will make his 250th appearance for the U's. Hear his thoughts on that landmark in iFollow right now.

Oxford United goalkeeper appearances (all competitions)

Roy Burton 449
Ryan Clarke 266 +1
Simon Eastwood 249
Phil Whitehead 238
Steve Hardwick 196

THE OPPOSITION

“They’re a good team with some good players, I know Grant [McCann, Peterborough manager] really well” Karl Robinson said

“They’re always a team that causes a problem because of the quality they’ve got at the top end of the pitch. They’ve always got wingers with pace and they always make it difficult for you on the counter-attack.

“They cause many, many problems and we know it’s going to be a very difficult game.”
