A talented and speedy wide man, Tariqe joined the U’s in July 2019 on a three-year contract from Charlton Athletic for an undisclosed fee. Initially with Reading, Tariqe gained experience with loan spells at Fleetwood Town, Accrington Stanley and Colchester United before joining Karl Robinson at Charlton in 2017.
