Oxford United Women return to Court Place Farm as they host Abingdon United Women in the FAWNL Cup on Sunday 27th August.
Kick off is at 2PM and tickets can be bought on the gate. Tickets are priced at £7 for Adults, £3.50 for concessions, £1 for Under 16s and FREE for Under 5s
The two sides met in pre-season, where the U’s ran out as 4-0 winners, Zoe Barratt getting on the scoresheet as a trialist.
United will be looking to mirror that result on Sunday, having conceded a 95th minute goal to draw their campaign opener against MK Dons last weekend.
Interim Manager George Anthony told us
“The squad have reacted really well and the intensity in training has been fantastic. For us we wanted the three points, we always want more and that’s the mentality for us as a club and a group.
“We’re back at home which is going to be great to welcome the fans back. It’s been a while since we’ve played here so it’ll be a really good occasion.
“Abingdon gave us a real test in pre-season, they’ve recruited really well and it should be an exciting game for the spectators to watch.
