The Oxford United Golf Day 2022 is set takes place on Wednesday 28th September at Oxford Golf Club, and the club invites all keen golfers to enter a team for what promises to be a memorable afternoon.
Four-balls are welcome at a cost of £300+vat, or £240 inc vat if you are a member at Oxford Golf Club. If your team would relish the opportunity to play with an Oxford United first-team player or staff member, there is the option to enter a three-ball and we will select a player or staff member, depending on availability.
The full day will consist of an arrival and registration period, where teas and coffees will be available, as well as a selection of bacon rolls to fill up with prior to your round of golf.
Once all teams have arrived and registered, there will be a welcome from a representative of Oxford United and Oxford Golf Club.
18 holes of golf will be played; the session will commence with a shotgun start. Throughout the day, there will be various competition holes including the straightest drive, nearest to the pin, and putting competitions to challenge your golfing skillset.
Following the completion of play, the golf club will be hosting a barbeque for all golfers and Oxford United players and staff to enjoy and digest the afternoon of competition. Winning team trophies and prizes from the golf challenges will also be awarded as well as after-dinner entertainment with comedian Aaron James.
