Dave Langan to launch his book at United tomorrow
We are very pleased to be joined by a true Oxford United legend tomorrow for our game against Gillingham.
Dave Langan played 114 times for the U's, helping the side to the top division and playing at Wembley in the Milk Cup Final. It's a fantastic story because just weeks before he came to the Manor he was on the scrap heap, injuries having taken their toll and doctors advising him to hang up his boots.
Dave has had to endure years of pain and disability as a result of playing through the pain and extending his career. You can read all about it in his new book, 'Running Through Walls', which is a remarkably frank insight into his life and career.
He will be in the CLUB SHOP from 1.30 to 2.45pm to sign copies, and will be introduced to the crowd at half time tomorrow.
