Cecily Wellesley-Smith from Oxford United Women's Regional Talent Centre wore the armband for England yesterday.
The young centre back captained an England U16 side against Wales U16's at St. Georges Park.
First Team captain Lauren Haynes said "It is an outstanding acheivement and one that everyone at Oxford United Women isextremely proud of. Cecily is a great role model for all the young players coming through the academy and we can't wait to see her prrogress as a footballer and as a person."
