Fan Advisory Board
What is the Fan Advisory Board (FAB)?
The Fan Advisory Board (FAB) is a structured forum for fan group representatives and elected members from different sections of our fanbase.
It provides a regular, formal channel of communication between the Club and supporters, with discussions recorded and outcomes shared publicly.
The FAB will meet with senior Club staff four times a year, as well as having interim FAB meetings to prepare for the full meetings with the Club. In addition, working groups will be created to focus on issues of particular importance to supporters, with Club staff joining where required, which can report back to the FAB. It is anticipated that FAB members will therefore be expected to attend meetings approximately every 4- 6 weeks.
What is the Remit of the FAB?
The remit of the FAB covers non-playing matters, including:
- The Club's strategic vision and objectives
- Off-pitch performance updates, priorities, and plans
- Operational matchday issues
- Proposals relating to significant changes to Club heritage assets
- Stadium issues and plans
- The Club’s equality, diversity, and inclusion commitments
- The Club's plan for broader supporter engagement

Meet the Fan Advisory Board Members:
Janine Bailey - Chair
I’ve supported Oxford since the late 1970s, through many highs and lows. My work in retail and financial management, and my experience on OUSP, will inform my contribution to the FAB, where I will ensure that the views, aspirations, and frustrations of fans contribute to the key decisions that affect us and our club. You’ll find me just behind the home dugout in South Lower.

Mark Carpenter - Vice Chair
I’m a season ticket holder in the North Stand with my dad. As a fan in my early 30s, I don’t recall top-flight football or a Milk Cup Final; instead, my earlier memories are of Kettering and Rushden & Diamonds, interesting though they were, I’m thankful that since then the only direction of travel has been upwards. I joined OxVox earlier this year and am pleased to join FAB and see what benefits this new group can give to supporters.

Matthew O’Donoghue - Secretary
I attend home (East Stand) and many away matches. For my degree, I studied fan identity and sense of belonging among Oxford United supporters. I believe that by working with the club's management and our passionate fanbase, we can chart a path towards an even brighter future for Oxford United. I want to ensure that fans' thoughts, ideas, and concerns are given the attention they deserve.

Ben Heath
Hi, I am Ben Heath, an Oxford supporter since the early 1980s. I sit in the South Stand Upper and am an enthusiastic fan, as well as being an OxVox member, helping specifically on stadium and finance questions for the Club. My favourite Oxford United win was 4 v 1 at Portsmouth first game of the season in 2013.

Grace Bailey
I was brought up to support Oxford United and am proud to be the Club's Her Game Too ambassador. My main aim within the FAB is to keep bringing women’s and girls’ voices to the meetings, but I believe that all fans’ voices and thoughts are hugely important to the Club and will do my very best to ensure they are listened to. I sit in the South Stand Lower.

Ohad Green
I arrived in Oxford from abroad over eight years ago, and Oxford United soon became an integral part of me and my family. I never felt like a foreigner and am always welcomed. I want every new arrival to Oxford who comes to watch Oxford United to have the best experience they could have – as I had - so this visit won’t be merely a one-off experience. I watch matches with my daughter in the East Stand.

Paul Scaysbrook
I’m Paul Scaysbrook. I am 61 years old, a wheelchair user (have been since birth), and I sit in the North Stand wheelchair area. I have been a supporter and season ticket holder since 1981, and I follow the club both home and away. My aim on the FAB is to advocate for inclusivity for all disabilities within the Club.

Garry Allen
I’m currently chair of Oxford United Walking Football club and founder and coach of the Tri-Stars Oxford United Down Syndrome Football Club. I believe that football should be inclusive for all. I have been a lifelong supporter of Oxford United and hold a season ticket for the South Stand Lower. I’m looking forward to joining the Fan Advisory Board as I recognise the importance of our voices being heard.

Paul Peros
I am Paul Peros, and I am a lifelong fan who migrated from the left side of London Road and ended up in the SSU. I have been the Chairman of OxVox for a number of years now and have enjoyed meeting and working with many fellow supporters over that time. Much of my time is taken up with the new stadium, and I hope to be picking out my new seating area in the next few years!
