Women's & Girls' Operations Manager

Oxford United Football Club are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational delivery of Oxford United Women & Girls, particularly focusing on match day administration and delivery, and girls pathway logistics to help ensure all football and administrative activities run efficiently and professionally.

The role will support the Women’s General Manager, contributing to a high-performance environment aligned with FA regulations and Club standards.

Location: Oxford United Training Centre, Horspath, OX33 1RT 
FT / PT: Part Time – 15 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Team Operations

  • Manage weekly operational planning for the girls' pathway, including training schedules, fixtures, and staffing
  • Lead on the arrangements of training facilities and equipment
  • Coordinate Women's matchday operations in collaboration with Club staff, stewards, matchday volunteers, opposition teams, and league officials

Administration & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with the FA, Women's National League, and safeguarding regulations
  • Act as Centre Manager for the girls ETC programme, leading on the operational and logistical delivery of the Centre, ensuring it is delivered in line with operating criteria
  • Keep the Club's schedule software up to date with fixture details
  • Assist the General Manager with the process of onboarding new staff

Matchday & Event Management

  • Support the Women’s General Manager on home match days to deliver a safe and smooth match day experience
  • Coordinate travel and logistics for away fixtures
  • Ensure post-matchday documentation and reporting requirements are completed

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Experience in sports operations, team administration, or a football environment
  • Strong organisational and logistical planning skills
  • Knowledge of FA regulations and women’s football structures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work Sunday home fixtures throughout the season
  • An enhanced DBS Check will be carried out
