Oxford United Women to Visit Real Bedford

Oxford United Women

Oxford United Women are on the road again this Sunday as they travel to Real Bedford in the FANWL, looking for back-to-back wins following last weekend’s 1-0 victory over Exeter City.

That win lifted the U’s into fifth place, just three points off the leaders. Real Bedford, meanwhile are two places and one point adrift of the Yellows following their 6-0 away win at Billericay Town.

The Pirates, who feature former Oxford player Issy Bryant in their squad, play their home games at Ledger Stadium, located at McMullen Park, Meadow Lane, Bedford, MK44 3SB. The game kicks off at 2:00pm and tickets can be purchased HERE. Prices are £6 for adults, £4 concessions and Under 18s get in for free.

This is Bedford’s second home league game of the season, having lost 4-1 to Cheltenham Town at the end of August. They also beat Norwich City 2-0 in the league cup two weeks ago, with Bryant scoring their second goal from the bench.

Elsewhere, top-of-the-table AFC Bournemouth host Hashtag United and second-placed Watford entertain Billericay Town, who have lost all four of their opening games.
