Oxford United are proud to relaunch the Club’s Icon Collection following the success of last season’s debut release.
In football, the word “icon” is reserved for the truly special, and for this collection, three historic names from Oxford United’s past take centre stage – fitting tributes for the return of the Icon Collection.
Featuring in both the new campaign and our three-part ‘Icon Stories Series’, we’re honoured to welcome back:
- Ray Houghton – 1986 Milk Cup hero
- James Constable – Oxford United’s second all-time top goal scorer
- Matty Taylor – Local star and goalscoring hero
This new, all-navy collection includes a premium full-zip hoodie, sweatshirt, long-sleeve tee, and short-sleeve tee, available now as a four-piece set HERE.
Icon Stories Series
We’re excited to bring you a special three-episode series, featuring Ray Houghton, James Constable, and Matty Taylor as they reflect on their time at Oxford United and share why they’ve earned their place as Club icons across different generations.
Kicking off the series is Matty Taylor, Oxford-born and raised in Kidlington. A product of the Academy, Matty first featured for the First Team between 2007 - 2009 before returning to the Club in 2019. He became a key figure in Karl Robinson’s League One sides, helping to drive memorable Play-Off campaigns.
Matty departed the Club in 2023, proudly finishing as Oxford United’s 9th all-time top goal scorer, a remarkable achievement that cements his legacy.
