Oxford United can confirm that Development Director, Jonathon Clarke, has taken the decision to leave the Club in November having accepted a prestigious new role.
With planning approval for the new stadium now secured, Jon felt it was the right time to explore another opportunity as the project moves into a new phase.
Reflecting on his time at the Club, Jon said: "It’s been an absolute privilege to help guide Oxford United through such a transformative period. With planning approval now secured, I’m confident that the team in place are the best people to take this project forward into its next phase. I leave knowing the future of the stadium is in excellent hands."
Oxford United Chief Executive Officer, Tim Williams, added: “We’re incredibly grateful to Jon for everything he’s done over the past five years. His work has laid the foundation for the Club’s future, and thanks to his input, we have a plan in place to deliver the next stage of this landmark project."
The team for the next phase of the project is now being put together and updates will follow in due course.
