Oxford United Under-18s will be taking on Northampton Town this weekend in a league clash at the Training Centre for an 11:00am kick off.
The side have had a difficult start to the season, but after their first point last weekend, they will be looking to continue to improve tomorrow.
Oxford midfielder Josh Holton was interviewed ahead of the tie and spoke on the progress they’ve have had since the opening week.
He said: “There’s a lot of improvements in the squad, and hopefully we can just take that into tomorrow and get the three points/"
The majority of both squads will be familiar to each other, having already met for an Under-21s clash on Tuesday. Josh spoke on if there was any advantage going into tomorrow after the 2-0 win earlier this week: “100%, it gives us a lot more confidence going into the game."
The Cobblers are yet to win a game themselves this season, however, are also yet to lose in the league after three draws on the bounce.
An 11 :00am kick off means spectators can start their day with some Academy football before Heading to the Kassam.
