Oxford road show as the U's go out and about
Oxford United will be out and about meeting fans ahead of the new season with three exciting Fans Forums as the #OUFCTakeover hits the streets.
Chairman Darryl Eales, Chief Executive Mark Ashton and Head Coach Michael Appleton will be hitting the road to meet supporters in Witney, Abingdon and Bicester, outlining plans for the new season and answering questions from fans at each event.
During the day the club will be taking over the town centres with the Milk Cup coming to town along with mascots Olly and Olivia, activities for young fans and the chance to win #OX4life packages and season tickets.
The club will also be visiting businesses in all three towns on each day.
Kevin Smith, Director of Business Operations, said:
“This is a fantastic opportunity for the club to get out on the streets and talk and engage with local people. We will be visiting local businesses and meeting staff, and also be in the town centres and showing what the club is all about at what is a vital time just before the season kicks off.
“The club has held forums at the stadium many times but this is the first chance we have had to go out and hold three smaller versions which people will hopefully find it easier to get to and have a little extra time with Darryl, Mark and Michael.”
