Oxford United Women welcome Plymouth Argyle Women in the FAWNL Southern Premier Division on Sunday 17th of August.
Kick off is at 2PM at Court Place Farm, with tickets available on the gate. Tickets are priced at £7 for Adults, £3.50 for Concessions, £1 for Under 16s and FREE for Under 5s.
The U’s look to build on an impressive and important first win of the season last weekend, as they cruised past Chatham Town Women with a 4-0 win, with four different attackers getting on the scoresheet.
Argyle also won their first game of the season last time out, beating Cheltenham Town Women 3-2.
Winger Izzy Cook spoke to us after scoring her first United goal last weekend
“It’s always nice to score and getting the third for the team was really great. We had a brilliant performance considering the start to the season and everything we’ve had to go through as a club so far.
“We did really well to get the win and it was nice to finally get the three points we deserve.
“Plymouth have just come off a win so they’re going to be up for it and we’re going to be ready and raring to go.
“This year we’re a brand new team and it’s going to take time for us to learn to work together and build relationships on and off the pitch.
“We’re getting there and hopefully last week was just the start of a new winning streak at Court Place Farm".
