With Oxford United hosting Reading at the Kassam Stadium on Wednesday night, supporters are reminded of the importance of behaving responsibly and respecting fellow supporters, staff and those working to ensure matchdays are safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Supporters should be aware that there will be a visible increase in police and stewarding resources at this fixture. Officers and stewards will be patrolling both the stadium and the wider surrounding area, helping to enhance public safety and maintain good order.
We ask all supporters to follow the instructions of police officers and stewards, treat those around them with respect and play their part in ensuring the occasion passes safely and enjoyably.
Following the final whistle, normal bus services will operate from the stadium and Blackbird Leys towards Oxford city centre and the railway station.
However, with potentially large numbers of supporters looking to travel on these services at the same time, space may be limited and some delays should be expected.
Supporters, particularly those travelling back into the city centre or to the railway station, are encouraged to consider their onward travel arrangements in advance and allow extra time for their journey home.
We want everyone attending the fixture to enjoy the football and contribute to a positive atmosphere. With a number of special activities taking place around the club's Remembrance events, we ask everyone to show consideration for others and help make it a memorable occasion for the right reasons.
Thank you for your cooperation and support.
