Oxford United can confirm the Men’s Team squad list for the 2025/26 EFL Sky Bet Championship season.
Following the closure of the summer transfer window, clubs must submit a 25-man squad to be registered to play in league matches.
As per league rules, Under-21 players do not need to be named, although all loan players must be registered, no matter their age, to qualify to play.
Oxford United squad list for the 2025/26 season:

Speaking on the announcement of the squad list, Head Coach, Gary Rowett, said: “It has been a busy summer putting a squad together which we feel can improve on our performances last year.
“We have signed seven players of real quality, and they are already showing signs of what they can do and why we brought them in. We have an important period now during the international break to get the new signings up to speed and ready to take on the season.
“We must work within the squad limit, and it’s always disappointing to see players miss out on registration. Simon Eastwood is one who is not in our squad for the season. However, I must emphasise how important he is, not just as a player but as a person. He will continue to play a vital role every day at the Training Centre and in the group across the season.
“Brodie Spencer, Gatlin O’Donkor, Jacob Knightbridge, and Josh Johnson all fit in the Under-21 category, which means they do not need to register per league rules.
“We all know the demands and challenges this season will bring, like all seasons in the Championship. We have assembled a squad that we are confident can take us forward and deliver a positive season with you, the supporters, behind us as always.”
