Oxford United Women return to the MGroup Stadium for the first time since 18 February in the Women’s National League as they welcome Hashtag United on Sunday (kick off: 2:00pm).
The U’s have won their last three league games, most recently beating Billericay Town 6-0 in Essex, while their last home league game saw them triumph 1-0 against AFC Bournemouth, inflicting the Cherries’ first defeat in over two years.
Hashtag are currently ninth in the Southern Premier Division, most recently losing 6-1 at home to league leaders Watford. This is the third meeting between the sides this season, with the two previous games, both played in Aveley, ending 1-1, with Oxford winning the Adobe Women’s FA Cup tie in October on penalties.
With no Men’s First Team game this weekend, make sure you get your Oxford United fix by coming along to cheer on the Women’s Team as they look to end the season strongly.
As this is our first home game since the tragic passing of Amelia Aplin, we will be holding a minutes silence before kick off.
There is always a great welcome at the MGroup Stadium, with a well-stocked bar and the excellent Burnout BBQ offering high-quality food. Entrance is £8 for adults, £4 for over-65s, men’s season-ticket holders; £3 for under-18s; £2 for under-13s and free admission for under-7s. Tickets are available in advance HERE or at the gate on the day.
