Oxford United Women entertain Watford in Club’s Fun Day

Holly Manders celebrates for Oxford United Women

Oxford United Women return to the MGroup Stadium on Sunday for their first home league game since smashing ten goals past Billericay Town as they welcome second-placed Watford.

The U’s will be hoping to bounce back from Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat at AFC Bournemouth, who were also second when the game took place, the win taking them above Watford, who were held to a draw at home by Real Bedford.

Oxford will need to be at their best against a Watford side nine points ahead of them in the table, second only to Bournemouth on goal difference. United remain in fifth place but will be hoping that the gap to the leaders can still be closed.

The game is United’s annual Fun Day, with sweet treats, Burnout BBQ, a Q&A session with the players, and a showdown between the U10s and the Mascots. It promises to be a great occasion, so make sure you get there early to enjoy the day. For those who prefer other pre-match activities, there is a fully stocked bar at the MGroup Stadium too.

Admission prices to the game are £8 for adults; £4 for men’s season-ticket holders, over-65s, and Blue Light Card holders; £3 for under-18s; £2 for under-13s; and under-7s get free admission.
