Oxford United Women Retained List

Oxford United Women have confirmed the list of players to be retained and released following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.

Holly Turner, Lucy Trinder, Maddison Millington-Stanbury and Maya Kendell will all depart the Club upon expiry of their contracts.

Turner joined the Club from Nottingham Forest last summer and despite sustaining a knee injury in October 2025, made 12 appearances and scored two goals.

A graduate of our Girls’ Academy, Trinder leaves the Club to pursue college football opportunities in the United States. The 19-year-old made 26 appearances this season, scoring in our 2-1 win over Exeter City.

Millington-Stanbury arrived at Oxford United in July 2025, having progressed through Arsenal’s academy setup. The 20-year-old goalkeeper made one appearance, against Chelsea in the WNL Cup.

Kendell joined the Club in January from league rivals Watford and made ten appearances throughout the second-half of the season.

Oxford United Women Manager, Liam Gilbert, said: “I’d like to thank every player for their commitment and support throughout the season.

“Their hard work, professionalism and positive attitude have been instrumental in delivering a strong finish to the campaign and have laid foundations that will benefit the Club for seasons to come.

“While it’s always difficult to say goodbye, we wish each of them every success on their future journeys."
