Join the Fan Advisory Board

Oxford United Fans

Oxford United are delighted to invite supporters to submit applications to join the Fan Advisory Board (FAB).

The FAB is a formal structure which ensures fans have a platform for meaningful and consistent dialogue with the Club, meeting with senior Club staff including the Chair and CEO to share supporters’ views on a range of issues.

The board’s remit covers a wide range of off-field topics, such as the Club’s strategic vision and objectives, proposals relating to significant changes to Club heritage assets, stadium issues and updates and plans for broader supporter engagement.

The FAB is currently made up of three nominated members from OxVox (the Supporters’ Trust) and six directly-elected supporters.  At the end of each season two of the directly-elected supporters stand down, creating two vacancies for which applications are invited from the fanbase.  These vacancies are for three-year terms of office. In addition, for 2026 there is one vacancy for a two-year term of office due to one representative standing down.

Applications are now open to join the FAB. Please see below for key dates and information:

  • The election process consists of four stages: application, shortlisting, interview and election
  • It is anticipated that FAB members will be expected to attend meetings approximately every four to six weeks
  • There will be three places available as part of this election cycle (2 for three years and one for two years).
  • As part of the application process, you will be asked to provide answers to a number of questions including what Oxford United means to you, what you feel FAB priorities should be and what relevant skills you have

Applications must be submitted by midnight on 17 May
Interviews will take place on or around Tuesday 9 June

Elections to the FAB from the successful interview candidates will take place between 22 to 30 June
