Can We Talk? Coffee Takeover Weekend

CWT Weekend

Oxford United are proud to announce details of our Can We Talk? Coffee Takeover Weekend, in collaboration with Missing Bean Coffee Roasters, taking place on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September.

Can We Talk? Coffee, named after the Club’s suicide prevention campaign, will become the house coffee blend across all Missing Bean cafés throughout Oxfordshire for the entire weekend.

What’s more, Missing Bean will donate 5% of all coffee sales across their branches to the Joey Beauchamp Foundation, as well as 100% of the profits from every bag of Can We Talk? Coffee sold.

On the Saturday, the U’s host Sheffield United at the Kassam Stadium, so we’re encouraging fans to grab a pre-match caffeine fix at their local Missing Bean café and support vital mental health initiatives in our community. It’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends and family over a meaningful cup of coffee!

Missing Bean café locations are as follows:

Central Oxford, 14 Turl Street

East Oxford, 66-72 Magdalen Road

Abingdon, 1 Stert Street

Botley, West Way Square

Woodstock, 17 Oxford Street

To round off the weekend, United Run Dept., Oxford United’s running club, will host their monthly event on Sunday 28 September, starting and finishing at Missing Bean Coffee Roastery on Magdalen Road. We’re excited to confirm midfielder Will Vaulks as our special guest, who’ll join runners for a chat over coffee, share stories from his time at Oxford United so far, and speak about his involvement with the Can We Talk? campaign.

It’s another great opportunity to enjoy the Club’s unique blend, support a vital cause, and move your legs with fellow U’s fans…

Registrations are now open for the United Run Dept. September event.
