Oxford United welcome Forest Green Rovers to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday in Sky Bet League 1 (3pm)

TEAM NEWS
United made it six games unbeaten with a 2-1 win at Woking on Wednesday night and came through that game with no new injuries.

Kyle Joseph will have a scan on his ankle injury next week but defender Sam Long could be in contention again after injury after returning to training this week.

Yanic Wildschutt provides an injury update in this week's Preview Show and you can also see Karl and James Henry previewing the game in iFollow.

THE OPPOSITION
A 2-0 defeat at home to Wycombe Wanderers last weekend left Rovers bottom of the table but Head Coach Ian Burchnall believes that once injured players return they have enough to climb away from danger.

“We need to recover players, it’s no secret. I say it every week, there are eight or nine players with experience that would benefit us enormously if they were fit. We look like a young, naive team in moments, but that is what we are,” he said.

“We just need to be in close proximity to the teams above us when we get those eight, nine players back, and maybe add some more in January. Then I feel like I would like to be judged through that moment.”

TICKETS
Tickets are available now from

PARKING AND ACCESS
There are around 2,000 free parking spaces at the stadium but we ask everyone to arrive early and park legally.

Please note that due to the Military Day activies a number of spaces in the car park at the West End of the ground, close to the fence, will be used to accomodate the displays and demonstrations.

The gate behind the Planet IT North Stand will not be in place so pedestrians can move from one end of the ground to the other behind that stand

MILITARY DAY
The game will see activities around the ground in the build-up to kick-off that allow fans to see equipment and vehicles and have a chat with members of all the Armed Forces.

We are delighted that staff from RAF Brize Norton will be our Guard of Honour to welcome the teams to the pitch before RAF Benson’s Station Commander presents the match ball to the referee before kick-off.
Hundreds of tickets have also been distributed to serving personnel and veterans of the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, and Army via our partnership with Tickets for Troops.

SSAFA, the Armed Forces Charity will be on site and fans can donate to this great charity as they enter via the turnstiles, while half time will see representatives of all three branches of the services involved in some special activities.
