October saw Liam Gilbert’s side earn three convincing wins, starting with a 3-1 home victory against Crawley Wasps. Lauren Haynes’ thunderbolt sealed the three points that day, adding to strikes from Molly Peters and Cat Beaver.
Two goals apiece from Taome Oliver and Emily Allen, plus goals from Carly Johns, Kayleigh Hines and a first United goal for Abbie Bensted sealed a 7-0 away win at Hounslow also, before The U’s returned to Court Place Farm to treat United fans to a 4-1 victory versus Cardiff City.
Hannah Mackenzie and Georgia Brown’s first goals for the club, plus further goals from Emily Allen and Molly Peters rounded off a hugely impressive month for The U’s.
