Oxford United’s Sky Bet League 1 home game against Doncaster Rovers this Saturday has been postponed.
The game, scheduled for Saturday 14th November, will need to be rearranged due to Rovers’ international call ups at the weekend.
The two clubs are working with the EFL to find a suitable date for the rearranged game.
Karl Robinson told us
“We totally understand Doncaster’s decision to call the game off- that is part of the regulations and we respect their right to do so and the rules of the league. But at the same time is is so frustrating not to have a game again and I feel for the players. We beat Rochdale and want to build on that but for the third time this season the next league game after we win gets called off.
“There is nothing we can do- we have tried to slot another game in but that has proved impossible so once again we grind to a halt instead of having a chance to play in the league.
“We have played eight league games and had four called off now! That’s made it hard to get a rhythm going and is going to make things busy later in the season, but as I said, there’s not much we can do about this one and we just have to stick together and be ready for when we do get a league game again.”
