All tickets have now been allocated for our Sky Bet League 1 game at home to Hull City on Saturday.
Following meetings with the relevant safety groups this game will be a trial event to ensure the safety of all attending. Therefore the number of spectators in attendance will be capped at 1,000 and those were snapped up quickly this morning when they were made available to Season Ticket holders.
The club is very aware of the frustration around the availability of those tickets and the online process and will review these steps accordingly. Demand was always going to be high and we apologise to supporters who missed out.
At this point it is key to remind supporters that the Hull City game is the only league fixture where supporters will be required to claim tickets. In due course, the club will communicate a more comprehensive procedure for Season Ticket holders which will be rolled out for the remainder of the club’s limited capacity fixtures.
Fans who successfully booked a ticket have the option of e-ticket, print at home or will be sent a ‘one-off’ paper ticket for use on the day. After feedback from fans there is no charge for tickets and a refund will be available if anyone was charged the initial £1 postage fee.
All sales have been monitored and fans must sit in their allocated seat. No exchange of tickets is permitted. Further checks will be made on matchday and with the safety of supporters, players and staff as a priority a full guide to supporter safety will be available later in the week
We ask all supporters attending the game to remember that this is a trial game and to follow all protocols. Provided that happens we are confident we can raise the number of tickets available for subsequent games.
The game will be available for free to all season ticket holders on iFollow.
