Oxford United need the fans this Saturday when we welcome MK Dons to the Kassam Stadium.
That’s the message from Josh Ruffels after he scored yet another dramatic late winner for his local side at Shrewsbury on Saturday.
“The fans have made a massive difference,” Josh told us “Certain home games we’ve had when they’ve been behind us have been unbelievable.
“They really do support us and help us in games, especially when we’re struggling. The away fans have been absolutely great; they always are, every season. Especially on Saturday they were fantastic. If they can keep supporting us and backing us in these last nine games, it will help us all the way.”
“We all know, and we say it all the time, that we’ve got nine cup finals left. We’ve now got plenty of time to build up to games and to train and to study the opposition, so we’ll be prepared every game and I’m looking forward to Saturday and hopefully another big crowd to help us keep this run going."
