PREVIEW: Oxford United Women Face Hounslow At Home

Women begin first of three home games in a row

7 October 2019

Oxford United Women get set for their second game in three days as they face Hounslow at Court Place Farm on Tuesday (KO 19.45).

After a good start to the season, with eight goals in their first two games, United then followed that up with two defeats and will be looking to get back to winning ways against Hounslow.

Game Information
United are back in action at home for the first time in a month so come on down to support the girls. The fixture will be played at Court Place Farm (OX3 0NQ). Kick-off is at 19.45pm.

There is also plenty of food and drink available at Court Place Farm and a great chance to bring the family down for an evening of football.

Team News
Brogan Moore will miss out again as she remains on international duty with Scotland U19s and due to the side’s second game in 72 hours, First Team Manager Liam Gilbert is likely to make a few changes to the side that started against Watford on Sunday.

Defender Gemma Sims told us:

“I think with the three home games on the bounce now it will help us get back to our form and back to winning ways and that’s when we are going to need the whole squad with three games this week. I think it will show the strength and depth we have in the squad.”

You can read the full interview with Gemma in the matchday programme which is available on the turnstiles.
