Oxford United are pleased to announce that defender Rob Dickie has signed a new two-year-deal with the club.
Rob, 23 , has been a model of consistency at the heart of United’s defence since joining from Reading and told us how pleased he is to have extended his time with the U’s.
“I couldn’t have wished for a better club. Ever since I signed the gaffer, the staff, the players and the fans have been brilliant with me and it feels like home. The club has big plans and is very forward looking so it was an easy choice to make to commit my future to the club.
“We have recruited well this summer and now we are focussed on the season ahead and on getting off to a good start at Sunderland on Saturday.”
Karl Robinson added:
“People forget that he is 23 and still improving and learning all the time. He works very hard at his game and we are really happy that he sees his future as part of what we are building here.”
