MATCH PACK: Scunthorpe United

Get the most out of the game on Saturday

27 February 2019

Oxford United are at home to Scunthorpe United on Saturday looking to make it back to back wins after our win at Blackpool last weekend.

As usual we have a full guide to help you make the most of your day at the Kassam Stadium

TICKETS
The game is not all ticket and you can book your place online at oufctickets.co.uk and print your tickets at home to save time on the day.

Our ticket staff are available to talk you through the best seats available on 01865 337533 from 9.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday and then from midday on Saturday.

FAMILY
As usual there will be Supporter Liaison Officers and Stewards all around the ground to help you with any questions.

The Family Room is open for this game and features activities and games for young fans plus a chance to meet players before kick-off. It is free to join the fun and you can find it in the corner of the North and East Stands from 1.30pm onwards.

Oxford United pride ourselves on providing a great atmosphere for families to enjoy. We have a full Family Guide to games available here: OUFC Family Guide

GETTING TO THE GAME

Parking
The car parks at the ground will be open as usual, with the East Stand Car Park open from 12.30 and we will tweet (@OUFCOfficial) with traffic and parking updates.

There will be no vehicle movement in the south car parks (VIP and A) until 15 minutes after the final whistle

Motorbikes
We have received a number of complaints from supporters who cycle to a home fixture and arrive to find the pedal cycle bays occupied by motorcycles. Please park responsibly. Supporters who cycle to the fixture are requested to only use the cycle bays indicated by the Red Line between the East and South stands

NORTH STAND MOVEMENT
The Rapid Expansion System (RES Gate) will not be in operation behind the North Stand which means fans can move from one end of the ground to the other behind that stand.

Any supporter with mobility impairment who requires assistance during the fixture is advised to locate an OUFC Supervisor (indicated by either a yellow / orange or orange coat)

SAFETY
Following the departure of Ian Mixter the club has an Interim Safety Officer until the end of the season. After consultation with the safety authorities and in line with other clubs we will be conducting random searches of bags, plus ticket checks, as fans enter the ground. There will also be no re entry should fans leave the stadium. We apologise for any inconvenience.

EAST STAND
As has been well documented the Ultras have decided to disband and we would like to place on record our thanks to them for their work in adding colour to games, especially the East Stand over the last ten years. The club will work with Oxvox to try and find a new way of utilising the space where the flags were, but in the meantime the wires used to hang the banners have been removed for health and safety reasons.

AWAY GUIDE
If you are a Scunthorpe fan travelling to the game then a full Supporters Guide is available here: OUFCAwayDayInfo.pdf
