Oxford United Women are pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Cheltenham Town Ladies
The partnership will offer young players exposure to competitive football at both levels and provide a pathway for aspiring players that wish to trial with either side.
The partnership will be an exciting step for both clubs with managers Liam Gilbert and Alex Cheal sharing continual professional development as they both look to develop off field structures.
“I am excited about this partnership with Cheltenham Town Ladies” Liam told us.
“Having spoken with the Cheltenham Manager Alex a number of times over the last few weeks they are a club who share a similar philosophy to us and they also believe in developing young talent. We will be able to create a pathway between the two clubs that can help young players develop and also give opportunities to some of the up and coming players that Cheltenham have.”
