Oxford United’s half time draw returns this Saturday thanks to a new partnership with Polythene UK.
Last season saw the format of the popular draw changed to provide a second and third prize as well as the usual cash first prize. However the new style draw didn’t capture the imagination and so we are pleased to say that we have listened to what the fans have said and will be reintroducing the popular 50/Fifty Draw in its old format – with one cash prize.
Tickets costs £1 and the prize will be half of the total sold, with the draw made by our Guest of Honour at half time.
Peter-Rhoades-Brown, United’s Business Development Manager, told us
“The Fifty/50 draw is a big part of matchday for a lot of fans and it is great to have Polythene UK as the sponsors. I’d like to thank Kylie Woollard and everyone at Polythene for their support of the club- not just on the draw tickets but also on the back of the shirts.
“We tried something new last season but I think people like the simplicity of just one jackpot so we will stick to that format and the sellers will be all around the ground on Saturday. We are also pleased that Charlotte and Emily Woollard will be making the draw to mark the partnership with Polythene UK.”
