Situation Becomes Clearer

Tuesday results leave United one point from safety - get behind them this Saturday

25 April 2018

Oxford United’s game against Rochdale on Saturday sees them needing just one more point to confirm their place in League 1 next season.

Last night’s results clarified the position at the foot of the table.

The U’s welcome Dale knowing that a draw would lift them to 54 points and leave the visitors only able to reach 52.

Bottom three Bury, MK Dons and Northampton cannot catch the U’s, even if they win all their remaining games. Oldham, who lost 3-0 at home to Southend can reach 54 points if they win both of their remaining games, against Doncaster at home and Northampton away.

Walsall, on 48 points, have three games left: Northampton at home then Bradford and Fleetwood away.

We want YOU to help United get that point they need. It’s been a long season but the U’s will be looking to end in style so grab your yellow scarf, pull on that yellow shirt and get behind Karl Robinson and the boys this Saturday.
