Oxford United look to build on three wins in a row when they welcome Charlton Athletic to Grenoble Road on Tuesday night.

"We know we have a tough week ahead of us" Manager Pep Clotet told iFollow today. "We started it well on Saturday but now we have to forget that and it's all about working on the details that we are going to need to beat Charlton on Tuesday. We have to think a lot about recovery and try and get the players right and fully recovered but we prepare very thoroughly and I think that has given us the edge in the last few games

"Getting the recovery right between games is just another of those challenges that you face."

United must make at least one change with Joe Rothwell suspended after picking up five yellow cards this season. As Pep says, that's a big miss:

"He has become a lot more intense as a player and he helps us a lot when he goes forward but also when he defends. On Saturday I thought he had a fantastic game when it came to closing the other team down and helping our team press and defend. That was one of the critical areas which we had to get right to try and get a positive result. If you do that then maybe you do get a few more bookings but that's part of the game."

Alex Mowatt scored the decisive goal on Saturday but both Rob Hall and Jon Obika are also available again should Pep want to make changes

"Both of them are in contention" he said. "We will see how they do in training. I want to be cautious, without becoming too much so, to make sure that everyone gets back from injury safely and is ready."
