Oxford United’s players are back in for pre-season and the countdown is now on for the opening friendly, away at Oxford City on Saturday 8th Jul.
The U’s travel across town to take on Vanarama League South side City on 8th July (3pm), for a game that will see the official launch of the new 3G playing surface at Court Place Farm.
Yesterday the players worked hard through various tests and the next few days will see things step up ahead of that first kick-off, where new faces Fiacre Kelleher and Scott Shearer are expected to feature, along with fit-again Wes Thomas.
