Come and have a chat and a beer with the Chairman at Bradford
Oxford United Chairman Darryl Eales will once again be buying the fans a drink as the U’s head for Bradford City on Good Friday.
United’s travelling support have been incredible this season- with over 1,000 away fans at more than half the games on the road, and as a small thank you Darryl would like to buy anyone heading for Valley Parade a drink.
Come and have a chat and a drink with Darryl. He will be at the Bradford Arms pub on Manningham Lane, close to the away end from 12 o’clock midday on Good Friday until 2pm.
He told us:
“It was something we did at Carlisle last season and it helped on a wonderful day for everyone involved. The fans have been amazing, home and away, in this, our first season back in league 1 and I just wanted to offer them a small token of my appreciation.
“Our thanks to the Bradford Arms for their help. Clearly with the yellow army travelling in large numbers the pub is likely to be extremely busy and we would like to ask fans to help us beat the queues by arriving at different times rather than all being on the doorstep at 12 and queuing round the block!”
We will be giving out vouchers for a free drink, one per person and away fans only - please show a valid ticket.
