United youngster gets Caribbean call up
Oxford United midfielder AJ George has received a call up for the Antigua and Barbuda national squad.
The 20-year-old, who made his full debut for the U’s earlier in the season, has been a regular in the Development Side all season and will link up with the squad for their CFU Caribbean Cup Qualifiers against Aruba on the 23rd March and St. Kitts & Nevis on the 29th March
AJ told us:
“I’m very honoured to get the call up. I was part of the under 20 squad a while back and that was a fantastic experience and now to be part of the full squad is something I’m really looking forward to.”
