United duo get England recognition
There was further good news for the Oxford United Women this week with youngsters Demi Lambourne and Ella Franklin-Fraiture both selected for an England under-19 training camp later this month.
Goalkeeper Lambourne and midfielder Franklin-Fraiture will join up with the rest of the squad at St George’s Park from the 24th to 27th January, while defender Laura Nichol is on the standby list.
All three featured for the United first team last season in WSL 2.

"They have worked very hard to get to play in the WSL and to receive recognition from the England set up is a fantastic reward both for the girls and for the club itself."
