Striker goes on loan to Plainmoor
Oxford United striker John Campbell has joined Torquay United on loan.
The 26-year-old forward joined United from Jarrow Roofing in November and has scored freely in development games. However he has made just one start for the first team, at Hartlepool, and found it hard to get games despite scoring his first senior goal at Plymouth. It is hoped that the move to Plainmoor will give John the chance to play competitive first team games.
Torquay, managed by ex-United skipper Chris Hargreaves, travel to Wrexham on Saturday in the FA Trophy semi-final.
