Manager looks forward to facing Watford, plus FREE coach travel to the Continental Cup FinalOxford United Women’s Manager Les Taylor sends his team out on Sunday against a club he captained in their finest hour.
Les skippered Watford in the 1984 FA Cup Final against Everton, having joined the Hornets from the U’s in 1980 after over 200 games for United. United travel to Berhamsted to take on the Hornets in WSL2 on Sunday.
“I loved my time as a player at both clubs and am really looking forward to Sunday” Les told us. “We had just gone three games unbeaten until last weekend against Reading (another of Les’s former sides) so we need to get back to what we were doing right and look to finish the season as strongly as possible.”
The game takes place at Berkhamsted FC, kick off 2pm and admission is £4, £2 for under 16/over 65s.
