Manager looks forward to facing Watford, plus FREE coach travel to the Continental Cup Final
Oxford United Women’s Manager Les Taylor sends his team out on Sunday against a club he captained in their finest hour.Les skippered Watford in the 1984 FA Cup Final against Everton, having joined the Hornets from the U’s in 1980 after over 200 games for United. United travel to Berhamsted to take on the Hornets in WSL2 on Sunday.
“I loved my time as a player at both clubs and am really looking forward to Sunday” Les told us. “We had just gone three games unbeaten until last weekend against Reading (another of Les’s former sides) so we need to get back to what we were doing right and look to finish the season as strongly as possible.”
The game takes place at Berkhamsted FC, kick off 2pm and admission is £4, £2 for under 16/over 65s.
Meanwhile Continental Tyres are offering FREE coach travel to The FA WSL Continental Cup Final between Arsenal and Manchester City at Wycombe Wanderers’ Adams Park stadium on Thursday 16 October (KO 7.45pm).
Tickets for the showpiece are on sale now, priced £5 for adults and £2.50 for children. A £10 family ticket (two adults and two children) and group bookings are also available.
The pickup point will be the Kassam Stadium 5:15pm report to leave at 5:30pm.
