Norwich recall United striker
Striker Carlton Morris has returned to Carrow Road after Norwich City recalled him from his loan. With Tyrone Barnett and Danny Hylton doing well up front for the U’s the 18-year-old forward has found games hard to come by in recent weeks and after playing for the Canaries in a development game last week he has now returned to his parent club.
Head Coach Michael Appleton said:
“Carlton has done well and we have enjoyed having him here. He works hard at his game and we wish him well for the future.
“We have six players on loan at the moment and can only use five so it seems a sensible move for all concerned.”
Carlton made seven starts and two sub appearances for United, scoring once at Bristol City in the Capital One Cup.
