Join us at Didcot this Wednesday as the under 18s enter the FA Youth Cup
It’s a big week in the FA Cup for both the First Team and Chris Allen’s Under 18s.
The youth team enter the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday night when they take on Bristol City in the First Round at Didcot Town’s Loop Meadow Stadium (7.30pm). After beating local rivals Swindon Town in the league on Saturday the young U’s are in good form and it is a game that they are looking forward to, as Chris Allen told us:
“We did well in the competition last year, beating Didcot, Southend away, Swansea away and pushing Cardiff all the way before finally losing 3-2.
“That was great experience for the boys and they were all really entertaining games so hopefully as many fans as possible will come along to Didcot and get behind us on Wednesday. It won’t be easy - Bristol City are a good side but the lads are really looking forward to it and it should be a good game.”
The U’s welcome Freddie Grant back into the squad after his work experience loan at Margate.
The game takes place at Didcot Town on Wednesday 5th November, kick off at 7.30pm. Admission is just £5 for adults and £3 for under 18s/over 65s.
The winners will play Swindon Town at home in Round Two
