Pre-season will see a change of Head Physio for United as Andrew Proctor replaces Andy Lord.
Andrew is currently serving his notice at Exeter City but his predecessor Andy is happy to be helping the U’s throughout pre-season. Both were at the training ground earlier in the week to exchange notes and Andy told us:
“It’s sad to be leaving, I have had a great time and enjoyed working with the staff and players but I have an exciting new project because I am opening a new physiotherapy practice in Winchester.
“I have worked for a long time in football with Derby County and then Oxford and I will be hanging up my boots, medical bag and magic sponge to set up Physiotherapy and Wellness.
“The practice will offer musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy services, hopefully utilizing the numerous links in the local area I have built in during my time in professional sport.
“I have enjoyed helping out in pre-season and it has been busy launching my own business at the same time, but I will always keep a close eye on Oxford’s results and will be back to watch games when I can in the future.”
