United Ladies face Keynsham on Sunday

The title of the South West Combination Women's Football League might well be decided this weekend when Keynsham visit Oxford United on Sunday (kick-off 2pm).

Keynsham are currently five points ahead of United, but have played a game more, and with both sides sweeping aside all before them it seems likely that the winner of this match will end up winning the title.

The game, to be played at Oxford United's training ground at Sport Oxford, Roman Way, is free admission and United's Ladies side would appreciate a good show of support following their most successful season yet, which has seen them reach the 5th round of the FA Women's Cup and be successful in their application to join the Women's Super League 2 in 2014.

In their last outing United won 3-0 at Plymouth despite being reduced to 10 players following captain Sahara Osborne-Ricketts' dismissal for handball, with Hannah Cox saving the subsequent penalty. Scorers for United were Lauren Allison with two and Natasha Caswell. Allison is the league's leading scorer with 23 goals, while Caswell is second in the ratings with 19 goals.

Come along on Sunday and give the Ladies a rousing reception as they play their strongest opponent yet (and the only side to have beaten them in the League so far).
