Max Crocombe selected for New Zealand under-20 World Cup finals squad

United goalkeeper Max Crocombe has been selected for the final New Zealand squad to compete in the under-20 World Cup finals in Turkey this June.

Two weeks ago Max was named in the extended 26-man squad, but today it has been confirmed that he will be travelling to Turkey as part of the final 21-man squad.

Max will fly out to New Zealand at the start of next month to join the rest of the squad before jetting off to Sydney for a warm-up match against Australia on 10th June. The following day the squad leaves for Turkey where they will play two further warm-up games. The World Cup action starts in earnest on 23rd June with a game against Uzbekistan, followed by a match against Uruguay three days later before the group fixtures are completed on 29th June with a game against Croatia.
