Nominate your candidates for United's new Hall of Fame
Oxford United is launching a Hall of Fame - a list of those whose performances for the club have become part of the fabric of United's history.And we want you to nominate those players who you think deserve to be included, with those receiving most nominations likely to get immortalised in the club's archives.
The club was formed as Headington FC in October 1893 and it has a rich history, with many players contributing to the rise of the U's from a village team playing in junior leagues to a top-flight professional outfit. So whether it's Ron Atkinson, John Aldridge, Dr Hitchings or Percy Cooper, email your choices to mbrodetsky@oufc.co.uk (using the subject 'Hall of Fame') by Friday 21st June. One lucky respondent will win a copy of 'Oxford United: On This Day' signed by the author - what further encouragement could you want?
