U's ready for final pre-season test

United will end their pre-season preparations with a game at Oxford City tomorrow night.

The U's have travelled from New Hampshire to Hampshire so far in pre-season but end their warm-up matches with the short trip to Court Place Farm to take on some familiar faces.

The U's will once again have a full squad available but with the big kick-off at home to Bournemouth in the Capital One Cup next Tuesday evening are unlikely to take many risks. Simon Heslop has been troubled by a sore back this week but is expected to return to full training over the weekend, Deane Smalley has a slight groin strain, while Harry Worley is edging closer to fitness but is still a week or so away from joining in training again.

Having taken a look at three triallists on Tuesday at Eastleigh the U's  are likely to have a further look at one or two new faces this time as well.

United (from)

Clarke, Brown, Crocombe, Batt, Raynes, Wright, Long, Lynn, McGinty, Capaldi, Cox, Chapman, Forster-Caskey, Constable, Pittman, Potter, Rigg, Craddock, Marsh, O'Dowda, plus triallists

City's side, managed by United old boy Mike Ford, have several United old boys including the likes of Steve Basham, Chris Willmott, James Clarke and Jamie Cook, with Stevie Kinniburgh also making a sub appearance this week.

The game kicks off at 7.45pm at Court Place Farm.
